The location is Mt. Nittany Middle School, Brandywine Drive, near the Oak Hall exit of US Route 322 east of State College, PA. Almost a dozen vendors will sell mineral and fossil specimens, gemstones, jewelry, beads, gem-cutting and jewelry-making supplies, books, and tools. Nittany Mineralogical Society will hold silent auctions including kids' sections and member consignments. Our plans include many learning opportunities for everyone in the family, with demonstrations including gem cutting, gold panning and microscopic minerals; lectures by experts; displays of minerals and gems; field trips; and sales of good food. The show will be open Saturday 10 - 6 and Sunday 11 - 4; admission is $5.00 (good for both days with an entry ticket), with kids 12 and under and scouts in uniform free with an adult.
